MOTHER'S DAY
since the day we were drafted into her life.
Mom's Career
Numbers Don't Lie.
Before the alarm. Before the coffee. Before we even knew we needed it. She's been on her knees for us since day one, and she hasn't missed a shift.
She didn't just take us to church. She WAS the church. Scripture in the kitchen. Worship in the car. The Lord was the head coach, and she made sure we ran His plays.
Through every mistake. Every bad decision. Every season we struck out. She loved us when we deserved it least, because that's when we needed it most.
No off-days. No timeouts. No bench. Whether we called at noon or 2 AM, she picked up. Already praying, already cooking, already on her way.
Her children rise up and call her blessed. Not because we had to. Because we couldn't help it. She earned every word of that verse before we even knew it existed.
Not in the conversation. The conversation IS her. Hall of Fame voters: stop counting ballots. Unanimous selection. Every season. Forever.
Seven Plays.
One Legend.
Every move on the court has a meaning off the court. This is what Mom's been doing every single day, every season, every quarter of our lives.
Posterizing The Devil
"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. — James 4:7"
She's been dunking on the enemy for decades. Spiritual warfare, slam-dunk style. Every prayer she lifted up went straight over the rim, in the enemy's face.
She Makes The Pass
"Bear one another's burdens. — Galatians 6:2"
Every win we've had? She set the screen. She made the pass. She got the assist. We scored the points, but she's the one who put us in position to do it through God.
Vision Blocked. Still Cash.
"We walk by faith, not by sight. — 2 Corinthians 5:7"
The enemy tried to block her vision. Tried to crowd her. Tried to make her doubt the shot. She rose up anyway, eyes closed and faith open, and let it fly. Nothing but net.
God Pays Her Back
"I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten. — Joel 2:25"
Every foul the enemy ever committed against her, every cheap shot, every stolen moment, God put her on the line. And she's been cashing in those free throws her whole life. Money from the stripe.
Second-Chance Specialist
"His mercies are new every morning. — Lamentations 3:23"
Every shot we missed, every chance we blew, God hands her the rebound. He gives her the offensive board. She puts it back up and gives us another shot. And another. And another.
Outsmarting The Enemy
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. — Exodus 14:14"
The enemy thought he had her figured out. Thought he had her cornered. She crossed him over and kept it moving. Ankles broken. Game still on.
Not In Her House
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper. — Isaiah 54:17"
Bad vibes? Wrong spirits? Drama trying to come through the door? Rejected. She guards her family like Kobe guarded the rim. Nothing's getting past Mom.
Life Without
You On The Team.
Real footage. Unedited. We can't be trusted alone, Mom.
Reaching Past Our Limits
"We're trying our best. We really are. But the rim is up there and we are very much down here. We need your prayers, Mom. The lift only comes from the Lord (and from you asking Him on our behalf)."
Caught In The Feelings
"Someone said something. We blacked out. The lamp didn't deserve it. The wall didn't deserve it. Our reputation didn't deserve it. Mom would've taken a deep breath, smiled, and prayed for them. Different DNA."
Striking The Rock (Numbers 20)
"God said SPEAK to the rock. We grabbed it, posted up on it, and hit it twice with a stick. Mission accomplished, but the cost? The Promised Land. Mom would've prayed first, listened second, and obeyed all the way."
